Dartmoor Adventure Weekend 2027
A chance to get away from the pressures of the job, spend some time outdoors, and enjoy a relaxed weekend with good company
We’re heading to Dartmoor for a weekend of camping, hiking, campfires, fresh air and good company. Nothing complicated, just an opportunity to switch off, enjoy the outdoors, and spend time with others from across the emergency services community.
Whether you spend your working week in an ambulance, fire engine, police car, control room, hospital, rescue team or another emergency service role, you’re welcome to join us.
Expect:
- Camping beneath the Dartmoor skies
- Walks across the moor
- Campfires and evenings outdoors
- Plenty of tea, coffee and food
- Time to relax and recharge
- Good conversation with good people
We’ll be camping on a small, well equipped campsite on Dartmoor and making the most of everything the area has to offer.
There’ll be opportunities to head out for walks, explore the moor, relax around camp, eat togehter in the local pubs and cafes, and finish the day around the campfire.
The weekend is intended to be friendly, informal and inclusive. You don’t need to be an experienced hiker or seasoned camper.

Our next Silence Between Sirens Adventure Weekend is on
28th - 30th May 2027
If a weekend of camping, walking, campfires and good company sounds like your kind of thing, we’d love to have you along.
Bring your tent, your walking boots and something warm for the evening.
We’ll bring the people. Dartmoor will do the rest.
Throughout the weekend we will be running optional mental health workshops with the chance to achieve a First Aid for Mental Health qualification.
Come away knowing more about what mental health is, and what you can do to support yourself and others when you return home.

This event is planned and delivered by Blue Line Adventures Limited, on behalf of Silence Between Sirens CIC. Due to this, section 3 of our standard Terms and Conditions does not apply to this booking.
To secure your place on the Silence Between Sirens - Dartmoor Adventure Weekend, a £50 deposit will be taken at the point of booking. This will be taken by Blue Line Adventures Limited. This amount will be refunded to the payee in full if they attend the event. The amount will be refunded to the payee within 14 days of the event taking place.
If you book onto this event and change your mind within 14 days of booking, you will be able to request a refund of the amount you have paid. After 14 days of booking, if you choose to withdraw from the event your deposit will be gifted to Silence Between Sirens CIC by Blue Line Adventures Limited to cover the costs incurred in planning and booking this event.
