A long distance circular route through woodland, open countryside, and charming villages surrounding Tunbridge Wells.

Join us for 27.5 miles of open countryside, historic woodland, and charming villages in Kent and East Sussex.
Expect:
- Countryside views
- Muddy fields and paths
- Pretty villages
- Plenty of hills
- Time to enjoy the outdoors
Our route will start in the beautiful village of Pembury, just outside Tunbridge Wells.
Meeting on the village green, we will walk south to pick up the Tunbridge Wells Circular, before heading south west towards Hawkenbury.
Our route then takes us in a clockwise direction through Frant, Eridge Green, and Groombridge, before progressing north towards Speldhurst and Southborough, eventually passing just south of Tonbridge and on to our final stretch towards Pembury.
Start time - 8am
Our route will take around 12 - 13 hours, dependent on how often we stop and the speed of the group.
What to bring:
- Something to eat / drink (there are a few small shops on the route)
- Medication
- Suitable clothing / footwear for a day outdoors
- Headtorch
- A backpack or running type vest to carry the above
What we will provide:
- A fully qualified outdoor leader to guide you along the route
- Headtorch if required
- A suggested equipment / suitable clothing and footwear list in advance of the event to help you plan what to bring / wear.
Worried you won't be able to complete the full route?
There are mutiple points on the route where you can pick up a bus or taxi. However, please note that the nearest bus stop to the starting point will be Tunbridge Wells Hospital on the day of the event.
We cannot take resposibility for any public transport on the day and will not be providing any transport back to the start ourselves.
