One awesome adventure together
We are heading to the Lake District in June 2027 for the 'Light the Lakes' event.
As part of the event we have booked to climb and 'light up' Scafell Pike.
But climbing England's highest mountain at night is too easy right?
So we are taking a gentle* stroll up two others on our way, expertly led by our qualified and experienced mountain guide.

*yes we said gentle but it is actually very challenging so some training / a good level of fitness will be required*

We’ll be camping on a well - equipped campsite in the Lake District and making the most of everything the area has to offer.
In addition to the main event, there will be opportunities to head out for walks, explore the area, relax around camp, eat together in the local pubs and cafes, and maybe even find a spot to enjoy an open water swim.
The event is intended to be challenging so a good level of fitness and experience climbing in mountaneous terrain is required.
However, you have the option to skip one or both of the first two mountains if you don't feel up to the big event nearer the time.
Our only request is you commit to join us to climb Scafell Pike overnight and take part in the 'Light the Lakes' ceremony.
Don't have a tent or sleeping bag?
Haven't worn a backpack since school?
No problem - we can supply those. Just let us know in advance what you need.
Cost = £120
What is included:
- Campsite fees
- Light the Lakes welcome pack (including t-shirt)
- Camping equipment
- A qualified and experienced mountain guide for the duration of the main event
You will need to provide your own transport to / from The Lakes.
Car sharing amongst attendees will be looked at once we have finalised bookings.

This event is planned and delivered by Blue Line Adventures Limited.
For this event section 3 of our standard Terms and Conditions does not apply.
To secure your place on this event a non-refundable deposit of £30 is payable on booking.
An additional £90 is payable on or before 28th February 2027. You will be sent an invoice and payment link shortly before this date.
The payment you are making covers your welcome pack (including t-shirt) for the Light the Lakes event, your camping fees, camping equipment, and all administration and insurance costs incurred by Blue Line Adventures Limited for this event.
If you choose to cancel your booking you may do so up to 14 days before the start of the event for a refund of £90.
The initial £30 deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
All profit made from this event will be donated to Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex.
